Head of School and Teachers with their students.

Annibale Preca Primary School

This is a photostory showing the interior of our school: Annibale Preca Primary School, Lija, Malta. The school, which has very recenty been re-decorated, is situated in a rather quiet area in the heart of Lija. One of the photos shows H.E. Dr. E. Fenech Adami, President of Malta, and that of Annibale Preca after whom the school is named. One can also see the new football ground which is used by the school students and by the nursery football team of the area. The final picture shows an aerial view of the school with the old football pitch right next to it.

Lija, Balzan, Iklin - Photostory.

This is an introduction to our three villages where most of the students of our school come from. These three villages namely, Lija, Balzan and Iklin, are situated in the central part of Malta.

Hello, I'm Citruninu. I was created by Rita Debono and knitted by Marlene Muscat. I am the mascot of the Annibale Preca Primary School in Lija, Malta. My name means "Citrus-Anthony." Citrus fruits are extremely delicious in Lija and Ninu is a common Maltese name; so Citruninu was born. An orange for a head and a lopsided grin have made me very popular with both young and old. Whenever our children at school go on an outing they always take me with them and take photos of me with tourists. That's nice because I love being centre of attraction!!
